On Wednesday 11 May, 2022, Dr Maria Boukouvala delivered Laboratory lectures to her undergraduate AUA students, in the frame of the lesson “Pests of stored-products and urban areas”, about the identification of family Erebidae and Lymantria dispar. Dr. Boukouvala explained to students the objectives of Life eGYMER project. Dr. Boukouvala also showed some of the pheromone traps (commercial and prototypes) that will be used to monitor L. dispar. The students were enthusiastic about the overall aim and scope about eGYMER.
On Thursday 12 May, 2022, Dr Maria Boukouvala delivered Theory lectures to her undergraduate AUA students, in the frame of the lesson “Pests of stored-products and urban areas”, about the biological circle, distribution and management of Lymantria dispar. Dr Boukouvala explained in detailed the importance of LIFE20 ENV/GR/000801 eGYMER. The students expressed high interest about the project, an issue that further enhances the mission of eGYMER project.
